It will come as no surprise that a company based near the sea should want to reflect its maritime influences in some way: we have done it with The Southwold Kitchen. Based on the cupboard designs from a classic racing yacht of the 1940s, this kitchen harks back to an era of beach huts, metal buckets & spades and sandy jam sandwiches.
This kitchen, with its signature ventilation slots in the cupboard doors and retro drawers, makes a distinct design statement.
A company with a small number of beautifully-executed designs indicates a quality that one with an extensive portfolio of kitchens may not live up to. We believe less is more.
