Senior Sales Manager - Kitchen Design

Plain English is a high-end, bespoke kitchen company with a national reputation for the quality of its designs and joinery. Its turnover has successfully grown year-on-year and the company now has four showrooms in London, Suffolk and Gloucestershire, the most recent having opened in Marylebone in 2009. With average kitchens prices in the region of £40,000, the company has a portfolio of high-profile and wealthy clients.

Plain English is looking for an experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic team player to head the company’s sales team. You will have a successful track record in sales at a senior level and a background in 3D design. You will also have an understanding of the demands of selling into the premium market.

Reporting to the MD, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing strategy, tactics and sales plans
• Setting and achieving targets for revenue and sales growth
• Building a strong team of regional managers and designers
• Inspiring and motivating your team
• Analysing and refining operational procedures and processes
• Handling design, production and installation queries and problems

You will work alongside the Brand & Communications Manager to:

• Identify and report on business opportunities in target markets
• Increase share in existing markets and maximise new business
development opportunities
• Monitor and report on leads and sales data
• Become a brand ‘ambassador’ within the sales team

Senior Sales Designer - London

Whilst we do not have any vacancies at present, we are always interested to hear from designers who would like to work for the company. Our requirement is for staff who possess a high level of design ability, together with excellent communication skills. They must be confident, enthusiastic and self-motivated. Experience in CAD/Vectorworks would be an advantage. A Degree in interior design or equivalent qualification is required.

Secretary

Location: Hoxton Square, London N1
We are looking for a full time secretary to support our expanding London presence. The successful candidate must be enthusiastic and possess good organisational and communication skills. An interest in interior design would be an advantage, although not essential. Must be computer literate, preferably with experience in the use of a CRM program, although training will be given.
