Victorian Villa This glowing room typifies Plain English’s bold approach to colour. The Spitalfields cupboards with Wilkes doors have been painted in Plain English’s ‘Boiled Egg’, a colour that spills across the entire room. The backsplash has been painted in a gloss finish for ease of cleaning; the worktops are in rich, durable oiled teak. Storage has been optimised with glazed wall cupboards with Georgian cornicing and fluted glass. In the anteroom, tall cupboards concealing the fridge/freezer have been painted in Plain English’s ‘Rusty Nail’. A rail ladder provides access to top cupboards.
