West Hampstead Villa A unique combination of materials and a cool colour palette combine to create this industrial-luxe Plain English kitchen. A row of tall larder cupboards house the stainless steel fridge – a material that is repeated on the Osea island worktop. Alongside the larder cupboards, a row of open oak shelves are mounted on bare brick and partially screened by a sliding metal screen. The oak is repeated at one end of the Osea island, where two tall stools, painted in Plain English ‘Rusty Nail’ gloss, perch. On the opposite wall, and in stark contrast to the brick, is a Bianco Eclipsia work surface with dramatic extended splash back.
