Celebrating THIRTY YEARS of Plain English, we have created a simple collection of six new paint colours in ‘elemental’ shades, inspired by the materials dedicated to celebrate each anniversary year. A tradition that comes from the Middle Ages, each year is represented by a material that is increasingly resilient and strong.

Paper, sugar, pottery, tin and linen form the basis of our palette, with pearl being the most precious, honouring our thirtieth year.

Plain English cupboards and furniture are built to last. With longevity in mind, this durable new palette is the perfect partner to complement our existing paint colours, offering a timeless, calm backdrop to the hubbub of everyday life.

This ANNIVERSARY Colour Collection No.4 is influenced by some of the more practical colours used in the vast working kitchens found in great houses and estates, which continue to influence the thoughtful details we are known for.
