Barcelona Attico With views over the Tibidabo Hills, this linear duplex apartment has been taken back to its original proportions, balanced alongside careful restoration work.
Rationalist architecture is echoed in the careful positioning of our Osea cupboards, creating a kitchen space with soul to celebrate a family’s love of food and entertaining. A linear brushed steel fridge and freezer provide generous storage for perishables and local produce, whilst balancing industrial edges with softer family living.
A restored and original tiled ceiling reflects light from generous picture windows onto an elegant Macael Marble work surface and stone floor, all softened by our elegant hand-painted Combs cupboard doors, and cleverly punctuated with bespoke iron Weymouth handles. The carefully considered proportions of pull-out cupboards and drawers, maintain clean lines whilst maximising storage for all necessary accoutrements. Glass and iron screens share light between the kitchen and utility space, leading and inviting the flow of space. Oiled Oak worktops, vegetable trays and Oak lined open-cupboards compliment the warm parquet flooring in neighbouring rooms, while a flavour of 1950s and 1960s design lends a sense of playfulness; a backdrop for curated artwork and heirlooms.
